Zem Joaquin is the Founder and CEO of Near Future Network and Summit, which seeks to scale solutions to optimize individual, societal, and environmental health. Near Future is comprised of investors, inventors, and entrepreneurs working towards world-positive tectonic shifts.
Prior to Near Future, Zem founded ecofabulous, which became part of Huffington Post in 2015. She held eco-editor roles at House and Garden, Domino, and 7x7 magazine. She executed the Dwell on Design show-houses for six years. She was the Co-Founder and an active board member of the Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute, hosted the TED conference for over a decade, and, with sustainability icon William McDonough, has co-hosted a gathering of world-class environmental leaders in Iceland for the past 15 years.
